A Peek Into Cotton Fields

Vanakkam. Selamat Datang. Huan Ying.
"Luxury Stay At Bargain Price"

Cotton Fields is loosely translated from Jalan Medang Kapas, the street where the holiday home is situated. This is a perfect place to go for a jog or cycling, as it is quiet and serene. The holiday home offers short-term rentals and is situated away from the heart of Bangsar, where the busy streets lined with cafes, restaurants and shops are, assuring you a good night rest. During the day time, there is also a security guard who makes sure that there are no trespassers or strange characters around.

During your stay in Cotton Fields, you will get to experience Malaysian lifestyle.
When you walk into any Malaysian home, removing your shoes or footwear at the entrance of your host’s home is a practice that is present till today. Once you walk in, you are greeted by the host. Once you have warmed up, you would be taken to your room for your much deserved good rest. In a Malaysian home, televisions are placed in the living room, as based on our cultures, bedrooms are used purely for getting a peaceful rest or sleep and any external noise is least desired.

     What the guests say......
  1. "Yes recommend it was pleasant and easy to get the location the rooms were spacious and open" - Ganendra Ariyathavaratnam (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
  2. "We both had an awesome time at Cotton Fields Holiday Home on 4th Feb. Suba ensure we had a perfect wedding anniversary celebration. The house was decorated with fresh roses and rose petals, which was a perfect and warm welcome for both of us. The room was especially very well decorated with roses and chocolates on the bed and rose petals in every cosy corner of the room. The towels we perfected with fragrance, grapes were kept sitting lounge.....and so on and on. we are very impressed and obliged with so much thoughts being invested for a night stay, just did not feel like living the place. thank you Suba for the excellent hospitality, it was just too good. we will treasure the memories for a long, long time. thank you cotton fields and Suba" -  Alpa Shah and Manish Mehta (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
  3. "I had a wonderful stay at Cotton Field Holidsy Home... juz a stone throw away to bangsar village...more private...well maintained ..... wrestle away from the urban atmosphere...it is ideal for couples n family....I give 4 stars" - Jacin Bala (Singapore).
  4. "Great place to stay. Very cosy and clean. Perfect location to hang out/ to find good food. Will definitely recommend to friends. See you again" - Ainie (Penang, Malaysia).
  5. "Great location and near town. It's a large and cosy home. It does feel at home and we do sleep well! Thanks Suba!!" - Amos Hong (Malaysia).
  6. "I had booked all three rooms of this townhouse in an upmarket residential area to accommodate a bride, groom and family hosting a reception at a nearby community hall. It turned out to be a wise decision. The house was comfortable and well equipped with a/c in every room, ceiling fans, washing machine, TV with Astro and cooking facilties with sufficient plates and cutlery. The hosts were kind and thoughtful as they provided clean towels and the house looked and smelled fresh and clean. They even stocked us up with fruit, juices and stuff to make breakfast the morning after. I was more afraid to disappoint the host if I checked out and the place did not look and smell halve as good ! Even if it did, she was kind not to show and so checking out was brief as was checking in. The bride, who is my cousin and her new husband spent their first night in the master bedroom, which must be heavenly ... as it warranted a late check out, which the host obliged" - Miss Z (Malaysia).
  7. "This is not a hotel but a complete house which is rented to different people (3 rooms) with a big living room and kitchen... I was there completely by myself which was very good. Location does require own transportation since it is a bit remote inside Bangsar area" - Tjark V (Netherlands).
  8. "With parents, relatives went to Kuala Lumpur, chose a hotel close to a friend's house, so go before it has been more familiar with the concept of the hotel. As imagine, decoration is very new, very feeling of home. We have 2 small rooms, master suite with no one else to set other regions, so in addition to the master suite we can use the kitchen can prepare their own breakfast, a refrigerator can be frozen food, fruit and drinks, as well as washing machine washing dirty clothes, very convenient! But the location of the hotel is not in the popular tourist area, so we also pack a car, car access very convenient no problem with it! Hotel housekeeper is an Indian-American couple, very warm people, to help solve the problem, generally fine not to disturb. Hotel Feature Tip: for a family to stay at the same time, a large living and dining room, children have enough space to play. If you do not have a car, access is not convenient enough. And the location is a bit remote, not familiar with the terrain of the words is not easy to find" - Ning L (China).
  9. "As I mentioned one review said, the hotel is not in the popular tourist area, on the contrary hiding in a residential area, near a similar townhouse or single-family house, there is still a senior apartment building. The Bangsar Hotel Kuala Lumpur highest-lying region, so get up early enough, you can see a beautiful sunrise, overlooking the dawn shadow of the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower. The hotel housekeeper prepared for us a lot of fruit, bread, juice, jam making breakfast, thank them for their good care! Hotel Feature Tip: Choose this hotel the best package a car and know the location of the hotel" - Ning L (China).
  10. "Home away from home ... rooms available for rental at Bangsar for short & long stay. Do take a look" - Joanna Low (Malaysia).
  11. "Want a great weekend getaway ....this is the place to go!" - Subasri Armon (Malaysia).
  12. "Great place to "host/house" outstation guests. or even a weekend getaway with a twist" - Justin Then (Malaysia).
  13. "When you need to feel like you never left home..." - Shaji Rajappan (Malaysia).
  14. "For those from overseas looking for a place to stay , do check out this option :)" - Shobah Veera (Malaysia).
  15. "A lovely sanctuary within the city" - Crispian Chan (Malaysia).
  16. "Awesome !" - Anil Arora (Malaysia).
  17. “Home a way from Home...Heard a lot about this place but didn't know the value of it until I had to stay here when some friends arrived from overseas. I live just 7 Km's away from here. Hosting friends from overseas couldn't be a better experience and much more meaningful than staying with them! We had the whole house to ourselves which comes with 3 bedrooms... The host of the house was vey pleasant and accommodative to our very special needs. Very very clean, super value for money I must admit, plus the privacy I got with my guests was great, which normally you don't get even in 5 star hotels, when all we simply wanted to do is to sit and chit chat, chill out and catch up with lost times... Without any noise or disturbance!!! The complimentary tea and coffee making facilities at the living area of home is simply awesome! It would have costed me and arm and a leg in a five star hotel! You got to stay to appreciate what I experienced. Right smack in the middle of the city and shopping for my guests was a breeze...For smokers like me? Hmmmm that will be little hard as I had to go out for a smoke!!! Smoking is not allowed in any part of this house!!! Poor me...Next time you plan to visit Kuala Lumpur, especially with a large family (5 to 6 pax) instead of paying a high premium at 5 star hotels for 3 rooms, you'll pay only a fraction of it here, with much better comfort and more so the privacy is priceless! Home a way from home...I'll highly recommend this place for tourist on leisure especially family with children. My guests were so happy with this place, they said that they will not stay elsewhere on their next visit to Kuala Lumpur" - Magandran (Malaysia).
